- Karen P.Tex is a lovely guy and very professional. He was running late but kept me informed. He came to put up 3 curtain poles, 1 curtain track, a small bathroom cabinet (all of which were ready assembled) and a couple of small lightweight pictures which he completed without fault. I did also request for a washing line to be put up on my balcony at the time of booking and made him aware it would require a masonry drill for concrete and this was agreed in our messaging chat but he was unable to complete this on the day as he said his hammer drill would not be suitable so that remains outstanding and will require me to find yet another tasker unfortunately meaning more financial outlay. The main reason for my 3 stars however is that I wasn’t expecting those jobs to take 3.5 hours which felt excessive given that I had the exact same jobs completed in an identical property with identical measurements only a few months ago and all done in under 2 hours and that involved assembly from scratch then so I certainly wasn’t prepared for a hefty 3.5 hour bill at the end of it. I’d use him again but would agree a timescale beforehand next time to stick within my allocated budget to avoid any nasty shocksMounting
