TaskRabbit for Good strengthens communities by helping neighbours in need find work and a place to call home.
Born from TaskRabbit’s mission to make everyday life easier, we believe in opening doors and surfacing opportunities to lift people up when they need a hand. That’s why we support local organisations that work to help neighbours earn a meaningful living and make our communities better places to live.

Our Work

We’re building opportunities through the TaskRabbit platform that make it easy to give back while getting things done.

Have unwanted clothes, shoes, or small household items lying around? We donate a portion of our service fee from every donation drop-off task through community grants to local nonprofits aligned with our mission. Our service fee also helps fund these grants when you add a donation drop-off to tasks that require vehicles.

Select your Tasker
Book a Tasker to take donations to your local Goodwill or charity of choice. For any tasks that require a car, add a donation drop-off at your Tasker’s hourly rate. Just choose item categories and quantity before you book.
Prepare your items
Make sure your items are accepted by your charity of choice. Then place your donations into bags for your Tasker.
Get it done
Taskers take the bags to the nearest drop-off site, invoiced at their hourly rate. TaskRabbit donates a portion of its service fee to support local community organisations. Together, we help neighbours in need.

I’m a Tasker, how do I participate in TR4G initiatives?

During the pilot TR4G program in San Francisco, all you need to do is set your schedule Availability and list a vehicle on your Profile. Stay tuned for more information as we extend the program beyond San Francisco.
