Connecting neighbours to build sustainable and compassionate communities
We created TaskRabbit for Good (TR4G) to make it easier for neighbour to give back locally and make a difference on issues that matter to them. A portion of TaskRabbit’s service fee from all TR4G initiatives will be donated to best-in-class local nonprofits tackling social and environmental challenges.

Our Pillars

Our Work

As part of TR4G’s commitment to sustainability, TaskRabbit is rolling out a task add-on feature that enables Clients to minimize landfill waste through existing engagement with Taskers.

This feature is currently available through a pilot program in the San Francisco Bay Area, where Clients can include an in-kind donation drop-off to Goodwill as part of their task.

Add Donation Drop-off
Add a donation drop-off to your next task to save unwanted clothes, shoes, or small household appliances from the landfill. Choose item categories and number of bags to donate before you book.
Prepare Your Items
Place your donations (clothing, small appliances, books, DVDs) into bags for your Tasker before the task. Learn more here.
Get it Done
Taskers take donations to the nearest Goodwill, invoiced at their hourly rate. TaskRabbit donates a portion of its service fee to support local community organisations. Together, we help the environment and neighbors in need.
